1. Managing Growth and Change
Effectively managing church growth is essential to ensure that the needs of the congregation and constituents are met and that your ministry remains a vibrant community of faith?
2. Conflict Resolution
Leaders need to be equipped with conflict resolution skills to handle conflicts that may arise within the congregation, staff, or volunteers.
3. Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers
Churches and Christian ministries heavily depend on volunteers to carry out their activities, so leaders must find ways to recruit and retain volunteers.
4. Talent Management
Leaders must assure an ideal Job-Talent Fit for all key roles by establishing clear accountabilities and aligning talents/skills with the requirements to achieve them.
5. Effective Communication
Leaders need to communicate effectively with the congregation, staff, and volunteers to build trust and foster a sense of community.
6. Leadership Succession Planning
It is essential that churches and Christian ministries have a plan in place to ensure a smooth transition of leadership at all levels when the current leader steps down.
7. Balancing ministry and Personal Life
Christian leaders need to find ways to balance ministry responsibilities with personal life to avoid burnout and maintain mental and physical health.
